This guide provides access to numeric data that is available
on the Internet or via print or CDROM collections at Alexander Library, Rutgers University.
Searching is provided via several search boxes, all of which are "and-ed"
together. Entering a search term or phrase in the "full record
search" box will search all fields in the database. Note boolean
searching within a box is not permitted. The user can also browse
by selecting one of the terms from "category" or "type"
or both. For example, a selection on category="census/demography"
and type="cd-networked" will show the census sources on
CD that are networked in the SCC. This database is growing and at
present there are over 400 entries. One can easily browse the entire collection
by not entering any search terms and just selecting the "search"
button.
