Biographical Sketch: Grace Agnew is the Associate University Librarian for Digital Library Systems at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. She is the architect and principal investigator for the NSF-funded Moving Image Collections project (http://mic.imtc.gatech.edu/) as well as a leader in the development and management of the New Jersey Digital Highway, a statewide digital library initiative. She is the author or co-author of numerous articles and on metadata, digital video and digital rights management. She is the co-author of the book, Getting Mileage out of Metadata (ALA, 1999) and is currently authoring a book, Digital Rights Management, a Practical Guide for Libraries, for Chandos Press (September 2005, forthcoming). She also serves as metadata advisor for PBCore, the metadata initiative of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
