About Digital Projects
The SCC promotes the communication of scholarly
material by developing digital projects across a broad range of
academic topics, in collaboration with librarians, teaching and
research faculty, and the State of New Jersey. Projects range from
online indexes and databases to electronic journals, digital libraries,
and image archives. Much of our current work is focused on developing a generic framework for all types of digital projects. This framework is known as RUcore - Rutgers University Community Repository. RUcore provides a robust data model, a friendly information architecture, and a digital library platform build on Fedora. Questions may be directed to Ron Jantz, Head, Scholarly Communication Center.
